Opponauts, this is your mission, should you choose to accept it. My sister needs an Integra to recapture some of the joy of life that was bled from her when necessity cast her into minivan hell.
Target parameters: Must be a 5-speed (of course). Must be reasonably drivable. This is not a project car. This is a flog it on the weekends and when the kids are at Grandma’s car. She is in Indy, and I am in Dallas. Therefore, one in Central Indiana or else somewhere in Texas where I can get to it (preferably North Texas). Price should be around $3000 or less.
Ready, set, go!

This is the only one ‘near’ Indy worth thinking about:

That’s a nice one, and not a bad drive.

Wow, that’s a nice one. Anyone in NC wanna do a road trip to Indy?

95 Acura Integra GSR - $3700 (Corpus Christi)
the last one has some nice looking add ons, even though the body is a little rough.......

Tell her it’s more of a cult

It’s a bit more than you wanted to spend, but I’m sure it’s negotiable.

That’s more accurate.

The rebuilt title on the blue one scares me a bit, but the color is pretty. I like the teal one. Corpus Christi is a bit far, and I’d have to get real creative to pull it off, but it stays on the list for now.

The price isn’t really a problem, but the transmission is. My sis only wants the manual.

Just make sure you add a detour in there:

Haha, she might go for that.

yeah, rebuilt can mean a whole lot, from being put back together after being stolen, to being repaired after being totalled out after an accident..... its one that you would have to look over real careful to make sure it wasnt hurt somewhere......

That teal one looks like a real winner

It does.

I’ll just leave this here.

That sounds like a PITA.

I imagine an audio place would install it pretty cheap. Unless you’re talking about using it, which I don’t think would be too bad if they could put it in the steering column, then it’d work just like any modern car.

After a quick google, it would be a little more of a nuisance than a modern one. You have to turn accessory on then it’ll read the chip and beep to disarm it. But if it’s just a weekend car it shouldn’t be too much trouble.
